Instead, she orders them with Matthew’s father, whom she lovingly refers to as Dad, at a seafood restaurant in Alaska. He has never had Korean food before, and because she knows he likes oysters, it is the seafood pancakes that Vivi asks explicitly the waitress to bring to him.
